Data Protection Policy and Management of User Data

This Data Protection Policy defines the specific practices for collecting, using, and managing the data of users (hereinafter referred to as 'Users') of the service available at https://skelth.org (hereinafter referred to as 'Service') and the associated game servers (hereinafter referred to as 'Servers').

Acceptance

This document, hereinafter referred to as 'Policy', is an integral part of the Service User Agreement. The content of this document can be accessed at https://skelth.org. By downloading, installing, registering, accessing, or otherwise using the Service, the User fully agrees to the terms of this Policy and gives explicit consent for their data to be processed as described herein. If the User does not agree with the terms of this Policy, they must refrain from downloading, installing, or using the Service in any way.

Updates

The Administration reserves the right to change and/or add new terms to this Policy without prior notice to the Users. The latest version of this Policy will always be available at https://skelth.org. It is the User's responsibility to periodically check for updates or modifications. Continued use of the Service after such changes implies acceptance of the updated Policy.

Objectives of User Data Processing

User data is collected in connection with the formalization of the User Agreement with the Administration, as available at https://skelth.org/policy, and may be obtained upon request to the Service as part of the execution of the established contracts.

Situations in which User data may be provided include:

  • Creation and management of an account on the Service https://skelth.org and/or on the Servers;
  • Participation in tests of additional game services, service updates (when applicable);
  • Participation in gaming events, promotional competitions, and other similar events;
  • Submission of requests, correspondence, or other types of communication with the Service Administration;
  • Use of additional special services within the game.

The data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Facilitate the creation, use, and management of a User account on the Service;
  • Participation in the game and access to game features as provided in the gameplay;
  • Facilitate interactions with other Users;
  • Error correction, development of new features, and game services;
  • Interaction with Users for feedback on the Service, user support, sending important notifications, and other communications related to the Service;
  • Processing, acceptance, and verification of payments;
  • Provision of technical support;
  • Providing information about future events related to the Service, its updates, and other similar events.

User Data Collected and Processed by the Service

  • First name, last name (character name);
  • User ID (login or user ID);
  • Email address;
  • Payment information, among others.

Other Data Collected and Processed by the Service

To provide high-quality services, the Service collects and processes additional non-personal data. These include:

  • Unique identifier of the user's device (HWID) and parameters of the software used;
  • Operating system version, device type, and hardware identifiers;
  • Time zone;
  • Information about the user's activities on the Service and directly in the game (game activity logs, actions on the Service, in-game achievements, time spent in the game, time of the last game session, access information, etc.);
  • Information about the user's IP address and the geographic location of the device used to access the Service and the game.

Data Storage

Data is stored for the period during which the Service and the related game services are provided (or for the longest period permitted by law).

Use, Disclosure, and Transmission of Data

The Service may combine User data with other information for the provision, management, and development of the game. Additionally, User data may be shared in the following cases:

  • When necessary to comply with legislation, such as in investigations of payment fraud and other illegal activities;
  • When there are reasonable suspicions of a violation of the Service's rights.

The Administration does not transfer User data to third parties.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files stored by the internet browser on the computer's hard drive. The Skelth Project uses cookies to link the User to the information provided on our website, offering personalized content to enhance the User's experience when returning to the site. To enjoy these functionalities, it is necessary to accept and enable cookies.
